Daggy Scholarships
Daggy Scholars will be welcomed into a vibrant community of seekers and scholars inspired by the life, legacy, and writings of Thomas Merton.

The International Thomas Merton Society (ITMS) will once again sponsor the Daggy Scholarship Program to make it possible for young scholars to participate in its Conference. Scholarships will be awarded to qualified candidates, covering all costs (except transportation) of attendance at the Nineteenth Conference of the ITMS to be held at Regis University from June 19-22, 2025. The awards also will include one year’s free membership in the ITMS. This year's conference theme is "'The Calligraphy of Snow and Rock and Sky' Thomas Merton and the Spirit of Place."

We aim to have more young people attend theological conferences in hopes that it might inspire them to pursue further theological education and scholarship.

For more information, please visit the Daggy Scholarship page.

Application deadline is May 1, 2025.
