Carolina Raptor Center has made eight dates available to CMS Title 1 schools to receive free educational programs. You can learn more about CRC's educational programs here:
https://carolinaraptorcenter.org/private-programming/. Only CMS employees can apply. Program dates cannot be transferred. Selected applicants will be notified on 9/28/23 and must confirm their intention to utilize the free program on the selected date within one business week from notification. CRC's education staff will work with the selected applicants to identify which program is most appropriate. Free programs will be distributed via a random lottery.
APPLICATIONS ARE DUE BY 9/26/23. Applicants will be notified on 9/28/23 if they have been selected for a date. You must confirm your intention to utilize the date within one business week or your date will be allocated to another school
2023/2024 Program dates:
November 2nd and 7th (OFF-SITE ONLY)
December 5th (OFF-SITE ONLY) and 13th
January 9th (OFF-SITE ONLY) and 17th
February 1st and 6th (OFF-SITE ONLY)
Program times: If you need CRC to visit your school, programs must be held between 11:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m. If you are able to visit the Raptor Center your program start times can be between 10:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m. Each date can only host ONE school, each school may receive up to two back to back programs.
Program sizes: If CRC is visiting you, the maximum group size is 100 people (not just students). If you are visiting the Raptor Center our outdoor classroom can accommodate up to 90 people (not just students). Each school may receive up to two back to back programs.
