Nishant Singh is a Government officer. Joined his profession in the year 2001. The officer is an MTech computer science from IIT Delhi.He is also a certified computer hacking forensic investigator and has done an advance course in cyber laws and IPR from Asian school of cyber laws.
He has been an instructor of cyber security in premier govt institute. Where he has taught Btech and Mtech courses.He also has the credit of imparting cyber security training to foriegn armies of the friendly foreign countries like Bangladesh, sri Lanka, Vietnam, Turkmenistan, mongolia, Afghanistan, Nepal etc.The officer has rich experience in cyber audit, formulation of cyber policies, cyber incident Management, info security management and forensics for more than 10 years
10:35- 11:05 - Analysing vulnerabilities in Smart Contract - By Shrutirupa Banerjiee
Blockchain is one of the emerging technologies which is making it’s way into different sectors such as banking and health care industries and many more. The application and adoption of Smart Contract is spreading because it aids to solving real life problems. So securing Smart Contracts is one of the important focus for us. The session will talk about what smart contracts are and what kinds of vulnerabilities do come in it's way. We will be analysing the technical reason behind these vulnerabilities along with knowing some good practices related to the same.
Speaker profile: The speaker holds a Master of Science Degree in Computer Applications(MSc(CA)) from Symbiosis International University, with experience in working on blockchain technologies and conducting security reviews for Web and mobile applications, and Ethereum based Smart Contracts in her previous role as an Information Security Consultant and research intern. Currently she is independently researching on Ethereum Based Smart Contracts alongside working as a Web Application Security Analyst with the WAF Research team at Qualys. She is also the Pune Chapter Lead for the Infosecgirls community and has also presented at Owasp Seasides 2019, Bsides Singapore 2019, Webinars and Null Chapter Meets.
