Municipal Elections are February 28, 2023. City Council has an instrumental voice in making our streets safe and transit run better. We want to find out as much as we can about the candidates’ positions on better biking, walking and transit to help the public decide who they want representing them.
We are mobilizing volunteers in all 50 of Chicago’s wards to build relationships with aldermanic candidates and seek their feedback on the Safe Streets for All & Transit Platforms. Volunteers should be able to commit 1-3 hours per week through February 28th.
Ultimately, we hope to build strong relationships with incoming representatives that result in meaningful involvement in transportation issues throughout their term.
