Welcome to Saint Sophia Cathedral Greek Language School! Our Saturday school begins at the Preschool level (4 year old group FULL) to Level 6. Ellinomatheia groups A1, A2 and B1. We start the children off from the point of the last lesson the previous year. If your child will be joining our school this year we will do an assessment on the first day so that your child begins in the correct group.

Levels Pre Kindergarten to 6 will use the Papaloizos text and Geia Xara series curriculum. Ellinomatheia A1, A2, B1 will use Klik Sta Ellinika Curriculum. If you are interested in your child taking the Ellinomatheia exams prepare to have the student take each level for two years in order to increase successful completion of the exam. Students are welcome into the A1 level once they have completed Level 3.

All students will have a Google Classroom account for class resources, communications and homework posting weekly.

Information before completing form: PRE K GROUP MUST BE 4 YEARS OLD BY SEPTEMBER 1, 2021, KINDERGARTEN GROUP MUST BE 5 BY SEPTEMBER 1, 2021.

SATURDAY CLASSES WILL BEGIN ON SEPTEMBER 11. 2021 in person unless city guidelines change. Please register well in advance of the school start date so that staff and support staff will be ready to start on September 11th and your child will have the resources necessary to start or continue their Greek learning journey.
