Information provide on this page will be used exclusively in the statutory activities of the NPO Kraiany.
Purpose and goals of the NPO Kraiany:
• preservation and popularization of the Ukrainian language and culture, national identity, education of patriotic consciousness;
• assistance to Ukrainians in overcoming the difficulties of adaptation to Japanese society;
• development of the cultural life of the Ukrainian community in Japan;
• comprehensive support for the development of friendly Ukrainian-Japanese relations, mutual understanding, respect and tolerance between Japanese and Ukrainians in Japan.
Main activity of the NPO:
• holding cultural and educational events;
• presenting Ukraine at cultural and educational events;
• Sunday school "Dzherelce" for children: lessons of Ukrainian language, history, culture, fine arts, singing and folk choreography;
• language courses for adults and children.
Membership in the NPO Krayany provides the following benefits:
• First hand information of all important events of the Ukrainian diaspora in Tokyo and other parts of Japan.
• Direct influence on the development of the Ukrainian center in Tokyo. Opportunity to be involved in important projects that reflect the objectives set out in the Charter.
• Participation in representative events, concerts, exhibitions, workshops, etc.
• Personal e-mail account in the
kraiany.org domain (*) and access to shared documents of the NPO Kraiany (depending on the level of access).
• Discount when paying for tuition at the Dzherelce school.
• Discount for events organized by NPO Kraiany (language courses, dances, singing, handicrafts, etc.) and services to be provided by the Association.
• Opportunity for professional growth and development.
Membership in the Japan-Ukraine Friendship Association NPO Kraiany is:
• an entrance fee of 5,000 yen,
• annual contribution of 10,000 yen.
