By signing up and giving us your commitment for the year you give our farm financial security, we in return give you food security, a great product, a discounted standard pack as well as monthly specials on Beef and Lamb, plus free delivery*. On top of all that you are contributing to having a positive impact in an industry that more often than not leaves the landed degraded and farmers are price-tackers and struggling to stay a float.
Payment-
We are offering our customers the option to either:
* Make a one-off annual payment
OR
* Automated payment for the subscription on the 3rd of the month.
Lower down on this form you will be asked to select which option suits you best.
Monthly OR Bi-monthly customers who have signed up mid year will just be charged for the remainder of the year. Bi-monthly customers make a payment every month, their annual total is spread over 11 months (Feb-Dec).
We will continue to use your selected payment method until you tell us otherwise or cancel your subscription.
Any extra Pork, Beef, Lamb and Chicken that are ordered will be invoiced once orders have closed, you will receive an itemised invoice from Stripe.
Subscriptions-
Pork Club runs from February through to December. We have January off as we have found many customers skipping this month in the past, plus our butcher Angus has a well-deserved break after the chaos that is Christmas. Monthly customers will receive a total of 11 deliveries and bi-monthly a total of 6.
Pork Club is a rolling subscription like most other subscription services, you can cancel anytime but the more notice we are given the better, ideally one month (growing animals is a 12 month cycle and takes a lot of planning and work!)
Bi-Monthly Subscriptions-
All Bi-Monthly subscriptions will receive 6 deliveries throughout the year.
If your subscription starts in February your deliveries will be February, April, June, August, October and December.
If your subscription starts in March your deliveries will be March, May, July, September, November and December.
**Everyone receives a delivering in December which may include your Xmas Delivery too.
Skips & Swaps-
If you are a Monthly customer, you are entitled to ONE SKIP a year.
If you are a Bi-monthly customer, you are entitled to ONE SWAP a year (you can swap to the alternating month).
We must be given 10 days' notice prior to the first of the month via email for your request to be implemented.
We are human and understand that unavoidable things happen and sometimes it can't be helped but we need to make it very clear that a lot of planning goes into our Pork ending up on your table, all the way back to how many animals are being bred, it is a 9–12 month commitment growing animals. So, we need all of our monthly subscribers to understand that they are committing to this delivery for at least 10 months of the year and our bi-monthly 6 months.
** If you are unable to receive delivery for whatever reason we will happily deliver it to another address in our delivery zone for you (treat a family member, friend or do a random act of kindness) We can even donate it to the Bendigo Foodshare service on your behalf!
The Box is SET-
Our boxes have been designed to use the whole pig, so nothing goes to waste. Everyone gets their share of the popular and not so popular cuts. We have found quite a few people wanting to swap out the Ham and Bacon so we have designed a Fresh Pork Box. Now there are three box options to choose from each and every month.
Order Forms-
Order forms go out at the end of the month for the next month's order (eg. form out end of February for March delivery) Everyone gets busy and it's easy to forget to fill the form in, we get it. We are going to do our very best to send you a reminder the day before orders close. If we don't hear back from you, you will receive the same pack as you had ordered to the time before.
Delivery -
Deliveries arrive around the middle of each month, typically between the 12th and 18th. You will see the delivery dates at the top of each order form when you fill it in, you will then be sent an email to confirm your exact delivery day.
We are farmers and have enjoyed expanding into butchery, retail, marketing etc - but I will say logistics is a whole other thing!
We aren't able to do all the deliveries ourselves - and utilize other freight companies to help us. Therefore, we CAN'T always estimate the time of your delivery - so if you aren't home - PLEASE LET US NOW - so we can instruct the driver where to leave the delivery - or make alternative arrangements.
**Please note that if you don't let us know and the freight company has to return the package to the depot & re-delivery there are increased costs (up to $50 - which we will pass on) - so please LET US KNOW if you aren't going to be home. We appreciate it is difficult when a time isn't given, but leaving out an esky, access to a fridge in a garage - the drivers are very good at following instructions.
