Thank you for your interest in the Big Astronomy project. This is a multifaceted project that includes a number of products: a planetarium show, a website filled with educational materials, interactive activity kits, and live events featuring observatory staff, broadcast on Facebook Live and YouTube. This is the place to sign-up for the hands-on Toolkit of informal outreach materials. The themes of the Toolkit are dark skies, sky legends from around the world, multiwavelength astronomy, and all the people who work together to bring us astronomy. Included are materials for 7 hands-on activities and demos, designed for museums and astronomy clubs, along with suggestions for using them in virtual events. Please let us know about your institution and if you are able to host virtual or in-person events with the Toolkit materials.
