The medical school curriculum in Egypt has been developed from the traditional system (6+1) to the integrated system (5+2). The first generation to experience the integrated system was in 2018 and from this time there is no longer a traditional system in Egypt. The integrated system has more tight study schedules, more condensed curriculums, and different assessment formats which affect the stress level and its impact . Determining the stressors will help us to understand and develop the new integrated system and work towards enhancements.
This study aims to determine the prevalence of stress, common stressors, and the used coping strategies among the medical students after reforming the educational medical program in Egypt.
