We can't wait for all that is to come this summer at Steubenville and Life Teen Camp!
of community, great Catholic speakers, the Sacraments, and an experience that our Catholic Faith is alive, vibrant, and bigger than just the experience of being at our parish. Thousands of teens from all over the country participate in Steubenville Conferences during the summer, with many locations offered across the US.
, which is Friday, July 12- Sunday, July 14 at Missouri State in Springfield. We will be spend Sunday evening and night at a retreat center to take time as a community to rest and reflect on our time at the conference.
We will depart Friday morning, July 12 and return on Monday morning, July 15.The cost for the weekend is $250, which includes:
-Transportation to and from the conference by charter bus
-Housing and meals (Friday Dinner - Sunday Breakfast) for the weekend, as well as dinner and one night's lodging at retreat center
-Two Assumption Life Teen Shirts
-Admission to the Conference
We recommend that teens do bring extra spending money for lunch on Friday and Sunday, as well as for the bookstore during the conference. Housing is in the college dorms and teens will stay in gender specific dorms, sharing rooms with other youth of the same gender from their parish. Adults of the same gender stay on the same floor with the teens to help supervise, while staying true to Safe Environment regulations.
At Marianist Retreat Center, teens will be on gender-specific floors and share a room with another teen of the same gender.
We will have a 1 adult to 8 teen ratio within our group as required by the Archdiocese.

Life Teen Camp is a dynamic and powerful week of teens encountering the beauty and joy of their Catholic Faith at the Best Camp Ever! Teens can expect messy games, Daily Mass, powerful worship and sessions, new friends from all over the country, opportunities for Reconciliation, high and low ropes courses, Eucharistic Adoration, the chance to bond with their Assumption LT family and so much more.
We will be attending Week 10 at Camp Covecrest in Tiger, GA from July 28 - August 3.
The cost for the week is $450 which includes:
- transportation to and from camp
- all camp activities, lodging, and meals
- a 2024 Camp T-Shirt & a Life Teen Shirt
- an incredible experience of community and the life of the Church
We do recommend that teens bring spending money for fast food stops to and from camp (Monday breakfast/lunch, Saturday dinner) as well as for the camp store, which has great Catholic shirts, gear, snacks and craft supplies. Housing is in lodges or cabins and is gender specific with a 1 to 8 chaperone to teen ratio. Adults of the same gender stay on the same floor with the teens to help supervise, while staying true to Safe Environment regulations.
We will depart on Sunday night following our Life Night and return the following Saturday around midnight into the following Sunday.

NEW THIS YEAR: EDGE Camp Hidden Lake!
Edge Camp is a dynamic and powerful week of teens encountering the beauty and joy of their Catholic Faith at the Best Camp Ever! We're so excited to offer the same incredible opportunity to our middle school youth as our high school teens have at Covecrest.
Middle Schoolers (rising 6th-9th) can expect messy games, Daily Mass, powerful worship and sessions, new friends from all over the country, opportunities for Reconciliation, high and low ropes courses, Eucharistic Adoration, the chance to bond with their Assumption EDGE family and so much more.
We will be attending Week 10 at Camp Hidden Lake in Dahlonega, GA from July 28 - August 3.
The cost for the week is $450 which includes:
- transportation to and from camp
- all camp activities, lodging, and meals
- a 2024 Camp T-Shirt & a Edge Shirt
- an incredible experience of community and the life of the Church

1. Complete the attached form below.
2. Submit a $100 non-refundable deposit PER RETREAT to the office.
**Forms and deposits are due Sunday, March 24.**- Payment (cash or check) can be turned in to the parish office.
- Checks can be made out to Assumption Life Teen.
- It is ministry policy that no teen is turned away due to financial need-- if you need assistance regarding retreat payment, please contact Becky.
