Please use this form to apply to become a vendor at our Spring Fair on Saturday, May 25.  10 am - 2 pm.
We are accepting vendors of:
- fur and feather
- horse tack
- agricultural products
- plants and seeds
- arts and crafts
- home baked goods
- merchandise, gifts, home decor
Vendor spots will be $10 each for a 10'x10' booth and will include one table.

Please list the merchandise or food items you plan to sell at the Massey Spring Fair.  

Prohibited Merchandise

Vendors are prohibited from the sale of laser guns/pointers, tasers, products depicting images or statements deemed offensive, drugs or drug paraphernalia, raffle or lottery tickets, knives/swords, fireworks, tobacco/vaping products or any illegal or prohibited items.

Exclusive rights

No vendor will be given exclusive rights to sell specific merchandise but we will try to limit the number of similar vendors so that all vendors will have a profitable experience.  

If you are planning to sell food it is your responsibility to ensure that the foods you offer and the preparation of such foods are in accordance with practices acceptable to Public Health, Sudbury & District. Please contact the Health Unit at 705-222-9202 for information.

I WILL BE BRINGING THE FOLLOWING ITEMS:

How many booths would you like?  Each 10'x10' booth will be $10 and comes with one table. 
This will be an indoor/outdoor event.  Indoor booths will be in the Emiry building.  Outdoor booths will be on the grounds close to the Emiry building.

Insurance requirements

You must provide the Massey Agricultural Society with a “Certificate of Insurance” ($5,000,000 General Liability) showing Massey Agricultural Society as an additional insured – valid for May 25 , 2024. You should contact your insurance company to obtain the certificate.

Alternately, you can use OAAS insurance provided by DUOO.  DUOO will automatically send your certificate of insurance to the Massey Agricultural Society.

Vendor set up and break down

Vendors may set up between 8 am and 10 am.  Vendors may take down at the end of the event - after 2 pm.

Subletting

Vendors are not permitted to sublet vendor sites under any circumstances.

Responsibility for merchandise

Vendors are responsible for the security of their merchandise at all times during the Spring Fair. The Massey Agricultural Society cannot assume responsibility for stolen or damaged goods. 

NOTE:   “WIFI” is not available for vendor’s use

Force Majeure
Subject to the terms of this Agreement, each of the parties shall be excused from the performance of any obligation hereunder, to the extent that such obligation is hindered or prevented by any strike, boycott, lockout, or other labour dispute other than a labour dispute with a party’s own employees, act of God, any riot, civil disturbance, or any act of war or of the public enemy; any fire or theft, any present or future governmental law, ordinance, rule or regulation, any epidemic or pandemic or any other cause or contingency beyond the parties' control.

EXCLUSIONS OF LIABILITY – ASSUMPTION OF RISK – JURISDICTION

THESE CONDITIONS WILL AFFECT YOU LEGAL RIGHTS INCLUDING THE RIGHT TO SUE OR CLAIM COMPENSATION FOLLOWING AN ACCIDENT

PLEASE READ CAREFULLY

As a condition of use the fairgrounds and other facilities, the Vendor assumes all risk of personal injury, death, or property loss resulting from any cause whatsoever including but not limited to: the risks, dangers, and hazards of participation in this event; collision or impact with natural or man-made objects or with other persons; slips, trips, and falls; or negligence, breach of contract, or breach of statutory duty of care on the part Massey Agricultural Society and its employees, agents, independent contractors, subcontractors, representatives, volunteers, sponsors, successors and assigns (hereinafter collectively referred to as “the Massey Fair”). The Vendor agrees that the Massey Fair shall not be liable for any such personal injury, death, or property loss and releases the Massey Fair and waives all claims with respect thereto. The Vendor agrees that any litigation involving the Massey Fair shall be brought solely within the Province of Ontario and shall be within the exclusive jurisdiction of the Courts of the Province of Ontario. The Vendor further agrees that these conditions and any rights, duties, and obligations between the Massey Fair and the Vendor shall be governed by and interpreted solely in following the laws of the Province of Ontario and no other jurisdiction.

MASSEY AGRICULTURAL SOCIETY’S LIABILITY IS EXCLUDED BY THESE CONDITIONS
