GROWTH PROGRAM APPLICATION
DishRoulette Kitchen (DRK) is building on our existing Growth Program this year that will allow us to expand our services and address challenges faced by entrepreneurs, particularly those from underrepresented communities, by offering a tailored mix of workshops, 1:1 consultations/coaching, and community building covering crucial business best practices including but not limited to accounting & tax, licensing & permitting, branding & marketing, operations & training, and food production & manufacturing.

Business Type
The program will support food & beverage businesses across the ecosystem – from production to distribution to processing to retail. Examples include (but are not limited to): growers, food hubs, distributors, processing facilities, community markets, co-ops, corner stores, farm stands, farmers markets, mobile markets, grocery stores, home food prep, restaurants, caterers, and more.

Business Stage
The program will target pre-launch start-up businesses and early-stage operating businesses.

Business Location
Applicants must be located in the City of Chicago. The program will prioritize businesses in community areas that are experiencing both food and economic insecurity in the City of Chicago. These areas can be found by visiting this link.

As part of the Growth Program, participants gain access to:
  • 1:1 technical assistance to start or grow your business 
  • Monthly workshops and development sessions with industry experts and thought leaders
  • Peer-to-peer networking opportunities
  • Community-building and networking with other small business owners & entrepreneurs
