For participate in any of The Chess Academy Tournaments, you are required to sign the Pledge before the tournament.

I, ______, hereby pledge that I will abide to the following rules as stipulated by The Chess Academy. (Please tick all the boxes to agree the pledge for the TCA tournaments) *

(1) I will respect all officials, coaches and other players and demonstrate good sportsmanship.

(2) For any dispute, I will discuss directly with the tournament officials in a calm and objective manner, and will respect the final outcome of the officials’ decision.

(3) I will not use any outside assistance (computers, engines, other people, books etc) during play.

(4) I will not use the chatroom unless I have a specific question for the officials.

Any violation of the above rules will result in immediate suspension of my participation in the event and ban on playing in any other TCA events for up to a month. *
