Ages: 4 years old to rising 8th grade
Daily: Monday through Friday 9 am to 4 pm
Campers may attend any combination of full weeks
Half-day pick up is available at 12:30 pm
Campers are grouped according to grade just completed and enrollment numbers

Camp Activities Include:
Campers participate in various activities each day on our beautiful campus. Camp is held primarily outdoors.

Culinary Exploration: Campers engage in ice cream making, enjoying the fruits and vegetables from the school garden when available, and baking bread in the school’s outdoor wood fired oven!
Water-play: Children should bring along a swimsuit for fun in the sprinkler, water balloons, and games.
Games and Movement: We believe children need to move to learn and the summertime is no different! Some organized sports will be combined with games new and old. Some examples of this are Capture the Flag, Kick the Cone and Red Rover!
Art: We let kids’ imaginations run wild! Campers learn to draw, paint, sculpt—but mainly, have fun with art!
Nature: Direct experiences of nature are constant at River Valley Waldorf School. Children play outside on our natural playground in all weather. Children are encouraged to climb trees, roll in the grass, play in the mud kitchen, and with loose parts on the playground.

CAMP STAFF
Our staff includes teachers and counselors. We select teachers and counselors who share a love of children and Waldorf education, and who are dedicated to providing them with a fun and inspired summer.

COSTS FOR SUMMER 2022
           Session 1 - July 11 – July 22: $395 per week  |  $750 for whole session - 2 weeks
           Session 2 - July 25 – Aug 5: $395 per week  |  $750 for whole session - 2 weeks
           Session 3 - Aug 8 – Aug 19: $395 per week  |  $750  for whole session - 2 weeks


Payments may be made with credit card via Square and are subject to a 3% processing fee. Payment may also be made via mailed check accompanied with registration form. Checks must be made payable to River Valley Waldorf School and received by June 1, 2022.

We allow families to enroll from just one week through six weeks of camp. Families can join for the whole summer or include us as a portion of your summer plans.

Payments are non-refundable and must be enclosed with registration to ensure attendance. Parents must complete an emergency contact form before enrollment.
