Insight Women's Center offers two different opportunities for women to receive support after an abortion decision. Whether the abortion was one week, or forty years ago, there is healing available for the myriad of emotions women experience.
1. Located in a serene, confidential location outside of Lawrence, KS, Insight Women's Center provides a 4-day after-abortion support weekend. This weekend retreat offers women a safe space, Biblically based study, and rest to heal from the trauma experienced with an abortion. The next support weekend will be held December 1st - 4th.
2. Forgiven & Set Free is a free & confidential eight-week healing program offered by Insight Women's Center to those who have experienced emotional trauma after an abortion. These groups are led by experienced, trained facilitators who understand the effects this trauma can take on relationships, mental health and the well-being of each participant. Dates for our next 8-week session are yet to be determined.
