2021 Spring Cadet Activities Program
The Cadet and Junior Canadian Ranger Commander has directed to deliver a new approach to cadet engagement.
59 Vancouver will introduce the Cadet Activities Program (CAP). The CAP is a locally delivered program which will provide a fun, challenging, and meaningful experience for cadets above and beyond what they would receive at the Squadron level.
CAP will consist of training and activities conducted locally in a “day camp” (non-overnight) format bringing together cadets. Activities and training should leverage unique local opportunities and instructors to provide cadets with fun and engaging training and activities.
The 2021 Spring Cadet Activities Program is still in development phase but is expected to happen over the course of 5 days during Spring Break between 15-26 March 2021. At this time, the method of delivery has not been finalized. Virtual, in-person, or hybrid methods may occur in accordance with Provincial Health Orders.
The Spring CAP is primarily intended for Proficiency Level 1 or 2 Cadets wanting to participate in fun and engaging training and activities over Spring Break. We are currently gauging interest to determine the level of resources and support to provide.
