Talent Grant Mentor Application Fall 2023 Cohort
The Ernestine McClendon Talent Grant from Recruiting Innovation was created to provide opportunity for underrepresented professionals to join or excel in the tech recruiting industry.

This grant provides Tech Recruiter Certification, mentorship, professional support and community building to help build a diversity pipeline for the tech recruiting industry. Representation matters to us and we welcome all and especially encourage members from the BIPOC & LGBTQ+ and other underrepresented communities to participate in this grant. Grant recipients range from those well established in their careers to those just starting their professional careers.

We are actively seeking mentors to help our grant recipients to grow professionally and connect into the industry.

If you have a passion for genuinely supporting and developing others, especially those with diverse experiences and from underrepresented communities, and have 3+ years of recruiting experience, we'd welcome having you onboard as a mentor!

Mentors commit to having at least three, 60 minute calls with their mentee during the last 3 months of the 5 month grant program (March, April & May).

The Ernestine McClendon Talent Grant was created to provide opportunity for underrepresented communities to enter and flourish in the tech recruiting industry.
