Looking to expand your music theater dance skills and/or get off the couch on Monday nights this summer?  We are excited to offer these two summer sessions, each led by INSTRUCTOR MADDE GILMORE:


Prior to joining the Treehouse staff, MADDE GILMORE danced for and provided instruction at the Jean Wolfmeyer studio for many years.  She has previously served as choreographer for Treehouse Theater's productions of Madagascar, Willy Wonka, Frozen, Matilda, and The Lion King, plus two Junior Theater Festival performance pieces.  Madde is very excited for this opportunity to help you learn to love music theater dance and healthy movement!


** MUSIC THEATER DANCE FOUNDATIONS **
Open to students age 8 and up, looking to build their skill set ahead of their next audition.   This session will cover posture, beat, rhythm, spacing, and adding expression to movement.  Each class will include a review of the basics, and will continue to build on the skills and steps learned in previous weeks.  

Session 2 (Monday nights, 6-7 pm, for 5 weeks): July 25; August 1, 8, 15, 22


** DANCE FIT **
Open to students age 14 and up and adults who are looking to make movement fun!  This upbeat class will build your knowledge and strength in a feel-good, body-friendly environment.  Grab a friend and get moving!


Session 2 (Monday nights, 7:15-8:15 pm, for 5 weeks): beginning AUGUST 1, 8, 15, 22 and 29



Cost: $8 per class, or $40 for the 5-week session.  Classes are available on a drop-in basis, but we encourage you to attend all classes as they will build on the previous week's instruction.
