As a coach, you will work alongside other staff members to maintain RL Scrubs' high standards and values and provide players with the guidance and support they need to achieve their goals. Coaching Requirements
  1. You must be 13+ to apply.

  2. You must also be C1+ in either 1s, 2s, or 3s.

  3. You must also understand and follow the rules in #coaching-rules.

  4. Knowledge and expertise: Coaches should have extensive knowledge and experience playing and coaching Rocket League, including a deep understanding of game mechanics, strategies, and tactics. They should be able to provide detailed and accurate advice to players, as well as be able to identify and diagnose gameplay weaknesses.
  5. Communication skills: Coaches should have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and be able to effectively communicate complex concepts and strategies to players. They should also be able to provide constructive feedback and criticism in a clear and respectful manner.

  6. Availability: Coaches should be available to regularly participate in coaching sessions and provide ongoing support to players. They should also be able to adapt their schedules to accommodate players in different time zones or with varying availability.
  7. Patience and empathy: Coaches should be patient and understanding, particularly when working with players who are struggling or experiencing setbacks. They should be able to empathize with players and provide emotional support as needed.
  8. Flexibility: Coaches should be able to adapt their coaching styles and techniques to meet the needs of different players and playstyles. They should also be able to adapt to changes in the game meta and strategies.
  9. Professionalism: Coaches should behave professionally at all times, and avoid engaging in any behavior that could be considered unprofessional or inappropriate. They should also maintain confidentiality and respect player privacy.
  10. Continued learning: Coaches should be committed to continued learning and self-improvement, and should regularly seek out new information and techniques to improve their coaching skills.
  11. Organizational skills: Coaches should be able to manage coaching sessions and keep track of player progress and goals. They should also be able to provide clear and concise coaching plans and goals for players to follow.
  12. Technical skills: Coaches should be comfortable with the technical aspects of Rocket League, including replay analysis, custom training creation, and using third-party tools such as BakkesMod.
  13. Adaptability: Coaches should be able to adapt their coaching style and techniques to different levels of play, from beginner to advanced. They should also be able to work with players with different playstyles and adapt to changes in the game meta.
  14. Creativity: Coaches should be creative and innovative, able to develop new and effective coaching techniques that help players improve their gameplay. They should be willing to experiment with different coaching methods and techniques to find what works best for each individual player.
  15. Collaboration skills: Coaches should work well with other coaches, staff members, and players, and be willing to collaborate on coaching strategies and techniques. They should be able to give and receive constructive feedback and work together to improve the overall coaching experience.
  16. Passion for coaching: Coaches should be passionate about coaching and helping players improve their gameplay. They should be committed to providing high-quality coaching services and dedicated to helping players achieve their goals.
  17. Coaching Requirement: To qualify as an RLS Coach, it's advised that you possess a minimum of 2 hours of coaching experience, including the analysis of a replay file if your coaching focuses on game sense. In the event that you lack this experience during the initial application and trial phase, it's probable that you may not successfully meet the requirements. This could result in the need for an additional meeting after you've gained the necessary coaching experience.

If you get accepted, a ticket will be created in the RL Scrubs Server, so be sure you are on the server! 

Once the ticket is created: 
 
- We'll do a trial coaching session.
-  You will be asked to do a replay analysis.

-> It will be a 2-3 minute analysis of that replay.
-> If you are a Mechs/Freestyle Coach, it'll be about 30 min long.

-> If you pass the trial, we'll get you all set up as an RLS Coach!
