WHAT IS IT:You would include a screening of Project / Forward: 2049 as part of your program or event
DATES:30-31 May. The projection program will run for two nights. It is a one hour program. This can be played once through or looped. You can do one night, or both.
WHAT WOULD BE EXPECTED:- Source an appropriate site for the projection (we aim to focus on unconventional sites that help people access art however, all sites will be considered!)
- Source and electric outlet you can access
- Get all the appropriate permission (or take responsibility for the legalities of what you are doing)
- Have access to a projector, computer, and speaker
- Download the full program of content, upload it to a computer, and project it on nominated dates at your advertised time
- Promote the event to your community via the digital and hard-copy collateral MG will provide
- Have someone monitor the event the entire time
- Be able to send us some images and video (smart phone is great if there's no documentation budget!) of the project so we can show the world what you did
- Optional: You may create a supporting program that has elements such as workshops/talks/performances/anything you like - as long as it is aligned to the program and Micro Galleries ethos
- Optional: You may conduct a local callout for local content created by you, signed off on by Micro Galleries
COST:
Micro Galleries programs are always free. If you are offering this project as a free program to your community, there is no charge. If this would be part of a paid-for festival, Micro Galleries would discuss fees with you.
