Thank you for your interest in participating in our Garnet Gateau Virtual Social Mixer! This event will be held virtually on our Bay Area Kei Discord server: https://www.bayareakei.org/discord

This virtual mixer will be held on February 7, 2021 with two (2) available time slots to choose from. In order to maintain an optimal experience for all guests, we will be capping this event at 80 attendees (40 per time slot.)

RSVPs will close on January 23rd, at 11:59pm PST or when slots fill up.

THIS FORM IS CURRENTLY ONLY ACCEPTING WAITLIST SUBMISSIONS. WE WILL CONTACT YOU VIA EMAIL IF SPACE OPENS UP.

Differing from our usual virtual tea parties, this Social Mixer will consist of six (6) rooms with specific themes and related activities. All of these rooms/voice channels will be open for you to freely hop from one room to another. Each "room" or voice channel will consist of up 10 guests each including, a designated host to moderate and facilitate activities or discussion.

To encourage movement from room to room, we will also be holding a scavenger hunt word puzzle that will require you to visit all of the channels at least once to obtain a clue from the room host. More info on the scavenger hunt can be found here: https://www.bayareakei.org/gg-socialmixer 

Instructions for joining the mixer, scavenger hunt information, and what to expect will be included in a confirmation email that will be sent at a later date.

Room Themes:
✧ Free Chat: It’s free chat! Come in and chat about whatever!
✧ Lifestyle: Work on your craft in this room! The title “lifestyle” is meant to cover crafting and gathering hobbies. Are you an avid baker with spicy takes on sea salt flakes? Want to show off your latest mushroom foraging haul? Want to just chill and work on your embroidery piece or finish a painting? Come hang out here!
✧ Spooky Central: "This is my room! It was made for me!" - Obsixwi  
Hey all you spooky ghouls and ghosts! We’ll be chatting about all things gothic and things otherwise deemed “sPoOkY”in this room. It’s kinda like a goth rave in an early 2000s vampire movie.
✧ Party Games: In this room, a moderator will be hosting Jackbox games (and maybe a few other surprise games.)
✧ Gaming General: Want to sit around and grind out some crafting levels with some pals? Or show off your Island in Animal Crossing? Come hang out and take care of your dailies in Gaming General!
✧ J-Fashion General: For all you J-Fashion fans who want to chat about brands, accessories, hauls stuck in shipment limbo, show off your coordinate, and more! A moderator will be hosting some of our more casual tea party games in this room.

NOTE:
✧ We will not be pre-arranging/assigning designated rooms. You will have the autonomy to choose which room you join.
✧ Please coordinate with your friends if you want to attend this mixer with them. We can not guarantee that we will be able to change your time if either of you make a registration error.
✧ Due to the pandemic we understand that not everyone has access to their wardrobe, so J-Fashion attire is not absolutely required. Please do note this is still a J-Fashion event designed for people who are active and experienced in these fashions.
✧ This event requires you to have a video camera. For safety reasons, your camera must be ON for the duration of the event.

To register for this event, you must submit proof of entry to our Charity Drawing by either of these entry methods:

● Submit proof of donation of $10 USD or more to the Transgender Law Center (https://transgenderlawcenter.org/) our chosen beneficiary for this event. This donation will be non-transferable/non-refundable. You may donate as much as you want, but we will only issue one (1) entry to the Charity Drawing Contest for any donated amount.
