I understand that as a virtual student I am not allowed to participate in any KHSAA sanctioned sports or activities, band, choir, orchestra, etc.

Students must work online for a minimum of 20 hours per week and complete at least 3% of each course that is assigned to the student each week if enrolled at the beginning of the quarter.  Students must complete 100% of the class if enrolled from the beginning of the year. Students must maintain a passing average no matter when they enroll in virtual courses. *

If the student does not stay on track by the end of the quarter the student will be assigned the Actual Grade for their grade in the course. The Actual Grade calculates how far behind a student's progress is throughout the quarter into the grade and at the end of the quarter.  This is the grade that is calculated when assigning 0's for all incomplete work. *
Required
Students must come in for all grade level testing on the dates the test are scheduled including but not limited to KSA state testing.   *
Required
Parents are responsible for monitoring student progress and course passing status (Actual Grade) in Edgenuity, only final grades will be posted on Infinite Campus Parent Portal. I understand that I can and should check my student's progress on Edgenuity. *

If adequate progress is not made by the student then the administration will meet to determine the consequences which may include reporting the student to the DPP and/or DJJ for truancy or requiring them to come to in-person classes or after school tutoring.   *
Required
Edgenuity will be monitored by a site administrator at the end of each quarter to determine if any grade level courses are missing and to make sure students are on track to be promoted on time. If not, students must complete work during Summer School session. *
