. Official registration for summer school starts on April 4 and ends on June 17, 2024. Guidance counsellors will register students online using the Ontario eLearning Consortium registration website (PRISM).
The Reach Ahead Credit Program provides an opportunity for students to supplement and enrich their High School Education by acquiring one credit. Students who have already successfully completed a course but want to upgrade their mark are eligible to repeat a course in the Reach Ahead Credit Program.
Please identify the course and format you are interested in for summer school:
In-person Courses (Sir Robert Borden High School (SRB), Gloucester High School) - program duration: July 4 - July 26, 2024
Virtual Courses (combination of synchronous and asynchronous online instruction) - program duration: July 4- July 26, 2024.
eLearning Courses (synchronously through the VLE and meet the mandatory eLearning graduation requirement)- program duration: July 3 - July 31, 2024.
Important:
- A student may only enroll in one Summer School credit course of any kind in Summer School (i.e., one Reach-ahead course or one eLearning course, etc).
- Students are required to attend the full Summer School session (110 hours) to meet curriculum expectations outlined by the Ministry of Education. Vacations and holidays should not be taken for the duration of the course.
- Students are expected to be in Canada during the duration of the session.

Co-operative Education Program - The Co-operative Education Summer Program offers students in Grade 11 and 12 the opportunity to gain valuable work experience in the workplace through in-person placements. All placements must be located in the National Capital Region and be pre-approved by your assigned Co-operative Education Teacher. In April/May, PLEASE monitor your email to verify details of your registration from PRISM: Ontario Elearning Consortium. It is normal and expected that all students are "waitlisted" as a first step; registration emails will follow as placements occur.
If plans change and you can not attend summer school, please be sure to contact your guidance counselor immediately.
