We are offering to match interested individuals in our congregation to walk with each other as prayer partners during this unusual Lenten season and beyond if desired.

What IS a prayer partner, you ask? What does that entail?
 
1.    When you are matched check-in with your partner by video chat, email, or by phone to share a bit about yourselves and your intentions for this season.
2.    Touch base with your prayer partner at least once a week by calling them, video chatting with them, texting with them or emailing. Talk about how your spiritual practices have been going, share what might be on your minds and hearts during this season, and commit to praying for each other throughout the week.
3.    Let your prayer partner know when you’ve prayed for them either via email, text, video chat or a phone call!
 
You may think you’re not that spiritual, or that you don’t know how to pray. Or if you do pray, maybe you feel it’s private—not something you’re ready to share with someone else. That’s OK. Just give it a try. These check-ins can take on the form of anything you want them to be! It’s a sacred experiment, basically committing to having a spiritual buddy in the congregation to walk with you on your journey in whatever way you both decide together.
