Technology Entrepreneurship to Create Change (TECC) BOSS summer internship
TECH-Nique is excited to consider you for our TECC BOSS paid summer internship, through SummerWorks.  The length of the program is seven weeks, beginning June 14th, 2021, and ending July 29th, 2021.  It will be a hybrid program, like you've (probably) been doing at school, where some days will be in-person, some days will be online.  For the in-person days, you will need to be at 900 E. Main Street, from 9a - 5p.  You must be between the ages of 16 and 21 to apply.  Hours are Monday - Thursday from 9a - 5p.  You will be paid upon completion of milestones as you move through the program - more information forthcoming. You do NOT need to have prior experience with technology in order to participate in this paid internship opportunity.  You will learn how to create a business idea and create an app,  based on solving a problem/highlighting an asset in your community.  You will also learn valuable in-demand skills in UI/UX design, digital marketing, visual software programming, or data analysis.  The entire program will be a hybrid of online/in-person meetups and you will be required to meet daily with your curriculum team and business team.  There will be speakers from Microsoft, Google, MIT, and more as you move through the program, in addition to prizes and giveaways!  It's going to be fun!  At the end of the program, you and your team will present your business idea to venture capitalists (investors), who will give you valuable feedback, kinda like Shark Tank.  We are excited to consider you!
