During your assigned monitoring period, your job is to offer practical guidance on collections care and general preservation to users posting queries in the Connecting to Collections Care Online Community.

Serving in two-week shifts, monitors are responsible for reviewing collections care questions posed to the community by small and mid-sized museum staff and providing simple and direct answers. Volunteer content experts are available to you for consultation to help with answering questions as needed. Monitors typically spend between 1 and 4 hours in monitoring activities in the community over a two-week period. Monitors should be conservation professionals or enrolled in a graduate conservation program.
