Jordan Regiment Percussion Audition Sign-Up (2024-25)

PLEASE READ THE INFORMATION BELOW CAREFULLY:

Auditions for the 2024-25 Jordan Regiment Drumline & Front Ensemble will take place on the following dates:

Monday, April 22nd @ Rogers-Herr MS 4:30-7:00pm
Tuesday, April 23rd @ Githens MS 4:30-7:00pm
Wednesday, April 24th @ Jordan HS 4:30-7:00pm

Interested students are required to attend all of the audition dates. If transportation is an issue, let us know ASAP! We want everyone to participate and will work it out.

DRUMLINE INFORMATION:

The drumline is the marching unit of our percussion section. We march snare drums, tenor drums, and bass drums. FRONT ENSEMBLE INFORMATION

The front ensemble is the non-marching unit of our percussion section. Students play mallet percussion (marimba and vibraphone), keyboard, aux. percussion (suspended cymbal, crash cymbals, etc.), and any other percussion needs. They also assist with operating electronic effects (Roland SP-404 Sampler). WHAT TO BRING TO AUDITIONS:

Comfortable clothes, tennis shoes, water bottle, sunscreen, and a hat.
If you have your own sticks or mallets that you want to use, you may bring those, although we may ask you to use ours.
If you do not have sticks or mallets, we will provide them for you to use.
