𝗣𝗹𝗲𝗮𝘀𝗲 𝗳𝗶𝗹𝗹 𝗼𝘂𝘁 𝘁𝗵𝗶𝘀 𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗺 𝗰𝗮𝗿𝗲𝗳𝘂𝗹𝗹𝘆 𝘀𝗼 𝘁𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝘄𝗲 𝗰𝗮𝗻 𝗿𝗲𝗽𝗼𝗿𝘁 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗰𝗲𝗿𝘁𝗶𝗳𝗶𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝘁𝗼 𝗡𝗬𝗦𝗘𝗗.  𝗔𝗻𝘆 𝗲𝗿𝗿𝗼𝗿𝘀 𝗼𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗶𝘀 𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗺 𝘄𝗶𝗹𝗹 𝗽𝗿𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗰𝗲𝗿𝘁𝗶𝗳𝗶𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗳𝗿𝗼𝗺 𝗮𝘀𝘀𝗼𝗰𝗶𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗧𝗘𝗔𝗖𝗛 𝗮𝗰𝗰𝗼𝘂𝗻𝘁.

The Dignity for All Students Act requires all newly certified (December 31, 2013 and after) educators to undergo a minimum of 6 hours of training by a NYS certified provider.
The OWL Teacher Center, a state certified provider, is offering 6 hour workshops for all New York teachers who are required to take them.  Workshop dates will be added according to demand.
Our instructors will be conducting the workshops according to the following schedule as long as the Covid19 state of emergency in NYS prevents us from conducting the hybrid format training.

The 6-hour DASA course is separated into two strands.  You will have 2 weeks from the start date to complete the training.

This is a 6 hour online training consisting of instruction plus modules. Prior to  September 19, 2022 , you will receive a Welcome Packet and an access code to the training. The Welcome Packet will contain comprehensive instructions on how to successfully complete the course.

Kindly write SEPTEMBER  2022 DASA in the memo section of both checks.
1. The first is a registration/processing fee of $35 in the form of a check or MO payable to the Lindenhurst PS/OWL.
2. The second is a check or MO in the amount of $50 payable to Matters of the Mind and Heart.
