Open Networking Lab - Accessible Version! Volunteer Testers
In late 2019, the Open University Cisco ASC in collaboration with many academic colleagues, Cisco and funded by UFIVocTech Trust launched Discovering Computer Networks: hands on in the Open Networking Lab. What was clearly innovative, was the integration of Cisco’s Packet Tracer network simulator within a browser-based curriculum.

Currently, we are working on enhancing and improving this, enabling the Packet Tracer Anywhere simulator to become ‘more’ accessible. Which means that we are adding adaptations to help vision impaired students.

As we are part of a larger community collective, we are looking for volunteers to test some of the activities during June/July 2020. We estimate that you would only need to commit one hour. However, if you wish to volunteer more time, we will not stop you.

If you are interested – please consider signing up via this document … we will only collect your firstname, lastname, type of academic organisation you work in and preferred email address. Which we will retain only for the duration of this project. Meanwhile – if you are keen to get a heads up, we have more information on our microsite.
