Target Heart Rate
For general fitness, it is recommended to exercise at alevel that is close to 75% of your max heart rate. Work through this equation to determine your target heart rate.
Find your max heart rate: 220 – age= *
Subtract your resting heart rate. *
Multiply by .75 *
Add back your resting heart rate. My target heart rate is: *
A beginner exercise program needs a frequency of three times per week. Write down three days of the week that you can dedicate to your fitness program. *
