Key information before registering:
By filling out this registration form, you are helping the TAK team to plan and prepare for our planting day, please let us know if your plans change.
The back up date in case of bad weather is Saturday October 9th. Please keep this date available as well.

This is a self - drive plantout, please get in touch if you can offer car pooling or would like to car pool with another driver.

Te Ara Kākāriki will provide morning and afternoon tea, hot drinks and water to fill drink bottles, a portaloo and handwashing facilities. We provide spades and clean gloves but you are welcome to bring your own gloves.

All ages are welcome, and children are the responsibility of their parent / guardian. Sites will be muddy or hilly. GUMBOOTS or a second pair of sturdy shoes or boots are recommended.

A registration pack with more details will be emailed to you before the planting day.

Personal safety is the responsibility of the participant, or in the case of minors, the guardian. If you have a medical condition please advise the event coordinator by emailing office@kakariki.org.nz. If you are sick please stay home.
The morning site can be muddy, the afternoon site is on a hillside and weather may be cold. Sturdy footwear, practical clothing and hats are necessary.  Please read our health and safety documents on our website  and there will be a site specific induction before planting begins. A trained first aider will be on site all day and sunscreen, drinking water, toilets and snacks will be available at all times
