Hello Rotarians, Rotaractors, Interactors, and any other members of the Rotary Family. This survey was built by the Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Committee in Rotary District 5360. We designed the survey for our own district to get a sense of the make up of the clubs here, however we encourage anyone who comes across this survey to take it!

Diversity, equity, and inclusion are growing into a top priority for Rotary International. The Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) committee is committed to helping our district through education, understanding, and support in creating inviting communities to all cultures, experiences, and identities through our Rotary clubs.

This survey was prepared in collaboration with the Indigenous subcommittee, which is under the umbrella of the DE&I committee. The Indigenous committee focusing on few area's; such as:
1. Awareness and education for our Rotary members
2. Helping engage our Rotary members with local Indigenous groups to learn of their culture, perform needs assessments and to have projects to meet those needs

The purpose of this survey is two-fold. As the DEI Committee for the District, we want to see where we can support clubs and to get a sense of the diversity of our District. The second purpose is to allow club members to reflect upon the composition of their clubs and the communities they serve.

Participating in optional surveys or providing feedback helps District 5360 better to serve our clubs. Our hope is this survey will help our committee better understand the current climate and needs of each club as it relates to diversity, equity, and inclusion experience, training, and opportunities to further our mission of Rotary’s global vision.
