Home Sweet Home Foundation Board Member Application
MISSION OF HOME SWEET HOME FOUNDATION:

HSHF transforms supportive housing for adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities into safe, happy nurturing homes through in-kind donations-empowering them to live with the confidence and dignity they deserve.

HOW WE HELP:

HSHF donates new and like new items to group homes for adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities. We do this in the following ways:

-Coordinating items to be picked up for donation
-In kind donations are used to purchase these items
-We have partnered with places such as TJ Maxx and Burlington Coat Factory to donate to places like El Valor and Keshet.

BOARD MEMBERS:

Members of the board will build a strong foundation to scale the organization to new levels by building relationships with surrounding communities and organizations, fundraising, and marketing.

EXPECTATIONS:
-Members will serve for a minimum of 2 years
-Attend board meetings and events
-Building relationships with surrounding communities, organizations and spreading awareness to your networks
-Give or receive donations annually
