District Planning Online Public Information Session
Use this Google Form to sign up for a (free) online 90-minute public information session to learn more about the project, the changes to the draft District Plans since public engagement in 2023, how to participate at the May 28-30, 2024 public hearing, and ask your questions directly to the project team. 

Each session will include a short presentation followed by a Q&A with the project team. The presentation is identical for each session and will:
  • Provide a brief overview of the District Planning project
  • Summarize what we heard from Edmontonians during the project's Phase 3: Advise-level engagement in 2023 and how feedback was used to update the draft plans
  • Summarize all other changes made to the plans in response to direction from the December 5, 2023 Urban Planning Committee meeting and feedback from the internal staff technical circulation
  • Provide an overview of the public hearing process
These sessions are not intended to solicit feedback on the draft plans. Comments received will not directly impact changes to the Policy and plans at this stage of the project, but will be relayed to Council at the May 28 to 30, 2024 public hearing for their awareness and consideration.

The Wednesday, April 24 session will be limited to 50 people to ensure ample time for a Q&A.
