Secondary TfM Development - Application 2022-23
This Maths Hub programme is fully funded by the Department for Education (DfE), including a £2000 grant for schools. Places are limited. Therefore, we require schools wishing to take one of the places to fully commit to taking part before starting.

Full participation in the Secondary Mastery Development Programme means a commitment to:

Working with the Cheshire and Wirral Maths Hub as part of their mastery programmes
Pursuing the development of Teaching for Mastery in mathematics across the school
Releasing two teachers whom have high quality classroom practice and between them have some responsibility/ leadership within the department. They will need to attend equivalent of 3 days of teacher workgroup sessions across the academic year
Hosting the Mastery Specialist for approximately 3 school visits across the academic year (during which the maths lead should be available and the headteacher should be available for a short meeting)
Supporting the Mastery Specialist in understanding the impact of the programme within your school
