Facilitator/Featured Poet: Asia Dorsey
writes Afrofutures into existence by
reweaving Black bodies into the fabric of the earth. Ear to the soil, she
heeds the instruction of mineral, microbial, and botanical beings using her
gift of pattern recognition as a bioregional and very
petty herbalist @bonesbugsandbotany.
Asia institutionalizes the pattern language of our planet as permaculture
educator with the Regenerative
Education Collective of Denver and a developer
of vibrant organizations that perpetuate cultures of reciprocity as an
organizational ecologist with Regenerate
Change . Like the mending of
bodies, Asia heals historical relationships of injustice as a reparationist
with www.reparations4slavery.com and a board member of the Center for Community Wealth
Building . Asia’s unique approach to
facilitation, conflict resolution and developing vibrant organizational
cultures bridges deficiencies in imagination with practical, ancestral tools
for acculturating social equity and radical self discovery through collective
creativity and play. Listen to her latest cultural production Healing Black
Futures . Ground your body into
beloved being with her BIPOC owned and operated Yoga Cooperative Satya
Yoga . Join in and support her
creations on Patreon and be in inquiry with Asia and her team
