Submit a Roundtable Topic to the 2024 CRC Symposium program

We are seeking roundtable topics that bring Canadian robotics stakeholders together to share knowledge, develop partnerships and build consensus or perspective on issues of a policy, technical, or business-focused nature.

All accepted proposals will be published on the event webpage and will also appear in the printed program to attract participants to your session.

All roundtables will be held concurrently in the afternoon session.

Roundtables will consist of two 45-minute blocks with a 10-minute break between, for a total of 90 minutes of program time.

Roundtable Participants

There is room for up to 8 people at each round table.

Other symposium attendees will have the option to pull up a chair and gather around your table fishbowl-style, and either listen in or participate from the sidelines at your discretion. Attendees may visit more than one roundtable discussion over the course of the session.

Suggested seat assignments:
  • 1 host/roundtable chair (presumably, that's you!)
  • 5-6 invited roundtable participants; fewer if you want to mix and mingle.
  • 1 notetaker. Note that you must leave room for a note taker at your table if your roundtable is to be included in the Post Event Report.

Names and emails of roundtable participants *

You may choose to invite specific individuals  to feature at your roundtable who will be actively contributing content to your discussion.
Please include a list (names/emails) of all invited participants, and indicate whether they have confirmed their participation. Confirmed participants will be listed in the event program if your roundtable topic is selected.

If you have not yet confirmed any participants, indicate how you will attract participants to your roundtable, beyond what will be advertised via CRC channels.

Note that all participants must register for the symposium. If you have invited participants to your roundtable, please ensure they are aware they must register.

As a sponsor, you may choose to allocate all or a portion of your complimentary tickets to your invited guests, at your discretion - we will confirm with you how to distribute your complimentary tickets after the final program is announced.
