Your Child's Security Question form
Please read carefully...

Each K-12 student must have a unique and strong password for security and to protect personal
information. This password will sync across all the programs students use at school so only one
password will be required.

Security experts recommend using a passphrase or random words rather than simply a password. The phrase
or words should be relatively long. Think of something that you can remember but others couldn’t guess. Avoid
using famous quotations that might be easy to guess. Below are two different examples of ways to make
memorable but strong passwords.

Passphrase method:
1. Think of a sentence or phrase. It is fun to swim in the pool.
2. Use only the first two letters of each word: itisfutoswinthpo
3. Capitalize at least one letter (it is best not to capitalize the first letter.) itisFutoswinthpo
4. Replace at least one letter with a number or symbol. itisFu2swinthpo

Random words method:
1. Think of 4 random words (it could be things you like.) I like the color pink, JoJo, icecream, and the
beach.
2. Capitalize at least one letter (it is best not to capitalize the first letter.) pinkJoJoicecreambeach
3. Replace at least one letter with a number and/or symbol. p1nkJoJoicecreambe@ch

All passwords must:
● Be at least 10 characters
● Contain at least one capital letter
● Contain at least one number or symbol
● Cannot contain the student name, lunch number, birth date, or personal information
Now it is your turn to create a strong unique password. Work out your password below and circle the final
password when you finish.
