First Communion Spring 2020
We are excited to provide First Communion instruction for children of any age (up to parent's discretion) in spring of 2020 as we implement the initiative at Light of Christ to welcome children of all ages at the Lord's Supper. If you have any questions regarding this initiative, please check out the info on our website at: https://www.lightofchristlutheran.com/children-and-youth/first-communion. Please keep in mind that at least one parent/guardian is required to attend the class with their child/ren. The registration deadline for each class is 3 days prior (so 2/20 and 2/26). Class Options *
Please choose one First Communion Class to attend. At lease one parent/guardian is required to attend the class with their child/ren.
First Communion Celebration *
There are 3 options for when your child/ren can receive their First Communion. Families are encouraged to invite grandparents, baptismal sponsors or other important friends/family. We will cap each service at about 25 students for space reasons. Please choose the service that works best for your family. If you have multiple children receiving instruction this fall, they may all receive their First Communion at the same service or you could choose to attend multiple services, if you'd like. If your family isn't able to attend any of these services, please talk with Pastor Bruce.
