The New Haven Pride Center is excited to launch a new food distribution program that will kick-off on Saturday, May 23rd. After concluding the recent LGBTQ+ Needs Assessment Survey, the Center found that food insecurity was the number one issue affecting Connecticut's LGBTQ+ community. In hopes of combating this issue - the Center has launched this program.

We are looking for volunteers to help us sort food, create the boxes, and give out to folks who come to pick-up. Cloth masks and gloves will be provided to ensure a safe and healthy work environment (volunteers are also welcome to bring their own PPE). This program will begin on Saturday, May 23, 2020. The last Saturday for pick-up will be August 29th.
