SUPPORTING MEN OF COLOR - Administrators & Managers RSVP
In support of our ongoing institutional equity planning efforts, Senior Staff, Redesigning the Student Experience (Guided Pathways) Steering Committee, and the Student Equity Steering Committee have partnered with the Center for Organizational Responsibility and Advancement (CORA) and have made the Supporting Men of Color Certificate Program available to all SMC Administrators and Managers.

ABOUT THE SUPPORTING MEN OF COLOR CERTIFICATE
The Center for Organizational Responsibility and Advancement (CORA) has gained widespread attention for its Teaching Men of Color Certificate Program. They now offer an online training program designed to enhance the capacity of classified professionals, counselors and administrators to support the success of Men of Color.

HELPFUL INFORMATION
Weekly assignments include participating in 1 hour-long online modules, reading 1 book chapter, 2-4 articles per module, & online posts. Additionally, you'll will be required to attend at least 1 live online session date within 30 days of beginning the course (dates will be provided upon being accepted to the course).

Individuals are expected to complete an exit survey at the end of the online course.

The Equity Committee will pay the $200 registration fee for each selected participant directly to CORA.
