WHY CONTRIBUTE MONEY to SKIP?
  • Each year that a student is eligible to participate and enrolled, a total of $255 is added to his or her savings account: $85 from JUF, $25 from Beth Tikvah, and $145 from the family.
  • Students enrolled in SKIP can use their SKIP funds toward any approved Israel experience program of their choice any time between the end of 9th grade* and when they turn 27. 
  •  NOTE: Only $500 from SKIP can be used for 8th Grade IsraelNow trip, per the rules of the URJ. The rest can be used for other trips.
WHO CAN PARTICIPATE?
  • Students in 3rd through 6th grade are eligible to Enroll in SKIP.
  • Families with children in 3rd through 9th Grade are eligible to Contribute to their children's SKIP account for a maximum of 7 years (through 9th Grade).
  • For Information about Suspensions, Transfers, and Withdrawals, please see the end of this form.

SKIP PAYMENT for this year
  • Beth Tikvah Congregation SKIP families (Grades 3-9) contribute $145 per child per year.
  • The Congregation contributes $25 per child per year, for up to 7 years.
All payments must be made by November 24.
2022 Payment *
  • If your child is in 10th grade or beyond, choose Graduated below, and there is no payment due.
  • All payments of $145 for 3rd-9th Grade must be received by November 24, either via ShulCloud, or with a Check to Beth Tikvah Sisterhood (who will forward the money to your SKIP account).
  • If your child is in 3rd-9th Grade, and choose not to pay this year, your child's account will be Suspended for this year (see explanation below).
SUSPENSIONS, TRANSFERS & WITHDRAWALS
  • SUSPENSIONS - If you are eligible to make payments this year (child is in grades 3-9), but do not plan to make a payment this year, please choose that above, and your account will be "Suspended" for this year.
  • TRANSFERS - If you are moving INTO or OUT OF Beth Tikvah Congregation, and wish to continue your participation in SKIP, please complete a Transfer Agreement Form, and submit to SKIP@beth-tikvah.org 
  • WITHDRAWALS - If you plan to request a withdrawal of your SKIP funds and will not be using them for an Israel experience, please complete the SKIP Savings Withdrawal Form.

If you are Enrolling your child in SKIP for the first time, please:

  1. Download and Complete this New Participation Agreement (it IS a fillable PDF, or you can print it and write on it)
  2. Email the completed PDF or a Photo of it to skip@beth-tikvah.org
SKIP ANNUAL STATUS REPORT
Because there are three groups contributing to your child's SKIP funds, you will receive an "Annual Status Report" from JUF each summer or fall - before your contribution is due - so you have a complete financial picture of the money in your child(ren)'s account(s).
