Hi everyone, we are CS40, WashU's governing student body of the South 40! We are hosting a school-wide clean up event on Earth Day to pick up trash in the communities around our university.
The date and time will be Saturday, April 15th from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM. Meet at the S40 Clock Tower at 11:00 AM.
Got Questions?
Where will we be cleaning up? The Centennial Greenway (the pathway that WashU students take from Olin Library to the Delmar Loop) and the neighborhood around it, the Delmar Loop, and the Skiner-DeBaliviere area.
Is there food? Yes! We’ll have some snacks during the cleanup, and we’ll have a gathering right after with some frozen treats and sandwiches from Pickles Deli!
Can I do it with my friends? Of course! Once the date comes closer, we’ll send out another form so you can tell us who you want to be grouped with and which community you want to help clean up.
Will equipment be provided? Yup! We will provide trash pickers, trash bags, gloves, and hand sanitizers!
Feel free to reach out to cs40communityservice@wustl.edu with questions or suggestions. Thank you!
