Authenticity Advocates were formerly known as Inclusion Ambassadors but the name was changed in October 2023 to better reflect the nature of the role.
We also want to take this opportunity to remind you of the role of our Authenticity Advocates. These advisors are not ‘sensitivity readers’ (and should not be described as such) but rather individuals with lived experience who can help strengthen and enrich new books, characters and stories. We continue to ask that publishers contact Inclusive Minds at the earliest possible stage in a book’s creation to ensure that their input can be of real value.
