Please complete this application for EACH student you would like to enroll in Kingston Virtual Program at Kingston Community Schools. Submission of this application is acknowledgment that this is a SEMESTER commitment. DEADLINE FOR SUBMISSION: FRIDAY, AUGUST 14, 2020 at 11:59pm.

Virtual Learning:
K-6: KES or outside provider
7-8: Edgenuity and KHS teacher mentor
9-12: Michigan Virtual and KHS teacher mentor

- A school issued Chromebook will be provided to all virtual learners.
- Virtual students may participate in sports, clubs and school activities.
- All of these classes will be for a grade and count towards a GPA.
-The virtual students will follow our school calendar for semesters.
-Virtual Students will be required to complete state test at school.
- If a virtual student has an IEP or 504 it will still be followed and supported.
-A student can elect to attend the Tech Center and then receive virtual classes through Kingston.
-Students are expected to engage in two-way communication with their assigned Kingston Mentor Teacher each week; there will be established office hours.
-Students may opt out of virtual learning by September 11, 2020 and if student who start off school face to face may opt to enter virtual learning by September 11, 2020.
-Students should expect to spend an hour per day/per subject in online space. Families have some control over time & location.
- Student and Family will monitor student progress.
-Students will also be responsible for filling out an EDP (Educational Developmental Plan)  during the school year.
