RBT 1.0 to 2.0 Transition Add-On Program Qualifications Survey
Dear Candidate,

As you may be aware, the BACB has recently released the RBT 2.0 Task List. Examination on this new Task List begins on 11/1/2019.

To better serve our ABA practitioner community, we have developed 3 RBT program options to meet the needs of all candidates:

(1) Our Current RBT Online Training Program which is based on the RBT Task List 1st edition

(2) RBT Transition Add-On Program which includes the additional modules required to bridge the gap between the 1st and 2nd Editions of the RBT Task List.

(3) Our NEW RBT 2.0 Training Program, which has been developed based upon the RBT Task List 2nd edition

To ensure the integrity of our RBT programs, only current clients who meet our requirements are eligible to enroll in our RBT Task List 2 Transition Add-On Program.

Please complete this survey to allow us to determine your eligibility for the RBT Transition Program.

Thank you in advance for your participation,

The Special Learning and Ever Learning Team

ELIGIBILITY INFORMATION TO SIT FOR THE BACB RBT EXAMINATION

To be eligible to sit for the BACB's Credentialing RBT Exam one must complete the following:

(1) Complete the 40-hour RBT course (course must be completed within 180 days)
(2) Successfully pass a Competency Assessment with an approved RBT Supervisor (i.e. BCBA, BCaBA, etc.)
(3) Successfully pass a Background Screening
(4) Secure at least 1 Ongoing Supervisor

What this means for Behavior Tech Candidates:

If you are planning on taking the RBT Credentialing Exam on or before 10/31/2019, the current RBT Program, which is based on the 1st Edition RBT Task List qualifies you to be eligible to sit for the BACB's RBT Credentialing exam.

However, if you plan on taking the RBT Credentialing Exam on or after 11/1/2019, the current RBT Program ALONE does not qualify you to sit for the exam.

To support our learners during this period of transition from RBT Task List 1st Edition to RBT Task List 2nd Edition,  we have created an RBT Transition Add-On Program.  This program is an add-on to your current program to allow you access to the additional modules you need to be eligible to sit for the BACB RBT Exam using the 2nd Edition of the RBT Task List, which takes effect on November 1, 2019.
