ANNOUNCEMENT OF CONTRACTOR REGISTRATION

Notice is hereby given that the Hemet Unified School District (“District”) has determined for all projects to be undertaken by the District and to be performed by any contractor for a District project valued at $200,000 or less, all bidders must be registered for submitting bids. It is mandatory that all Licensed Contractors who intend to submit bids complete the following registration, provide all materials requested herein to be on the District’s Contractor’s Registration. No bid will be accepted from a Contractor that has failed to comply with these requirements.

Registration will remain valid from the date of the District receiving your complete Contractor Registration submission, except that the District reserves the right to suspend or rescind the Contractor Registration based on subsequently learned information, and after giving notice of the proposed action to the Contractor ten (10) days to appeal the District’s findings.  Contractor registration lists will be available for review at www.hemetusd.org/facilities/contractor.

While it is the intent of the Contractor Registration and documents required therewith to assist the District with soliciting bids for projects under $200,000, neither the fact of Contractor Registration, nor any pre-qualification rating, will preclude the District from a post-bid consideration and determination on a specific project whether a bidder has  the quality, fitness, capacity and experience to satisfactorily perform the proposed work, and has demonstrated the requisite trustworthiness. Contractors are encouraged to submit Contractor Registration as soon as possible, so that they may be notified of upcoming projects that fall under their license classification.

All information provided will be kept confidential to the extent permitted by law, although the contents may be disclosed to third parties for the purpose of verification, investigation of substantial allegations, and in the process of an appeal hearing.

GENERAL INFORMATION

A. The Bidder shall complete the following Contractor Registration.

B. “You” or “Your” as used herein refers to the bidder’s firm and any of its officers, directors, shareholders, parties, or principals.

C. Any statement which is proven to be false shall be grounds for immediate removal or denial from registration.

D. Failure to complete all questions and provide all information requested within this Contractor Registration shall be basis for non-registration.
