ENG2850 (Spring '24) GTRA - Intro Survey
Let's get to know each other!
[This form will take you about 15 minutes to fill in.]

Hi everyone! My name is Manon Hakem-Lemaire (you can call me Manon). I'm a fifth-year PhD student in comparative literature at The Graduate Center, CUNY. During the early pandemic, I relocated to Edinburgh, Scotland, but I'm still very much anchored in New York, as I continue to teach at Baruch and am still pursuing my PhD at the GC. My time zone is 5 hours ahead of NY time, but I aim to respond to emails within 48 hours.

It's a pleasure to meet you through this course, which I designed hoping it'll be fun rather than pretending we're in person, but on Zoom... I look forward to helping you sharpen your critical skills and seeing your awesome work!

Below is a picture of me with my puppy, Pacífico, with Edinburgh Castle in the background. A fun fact about me is I speak Spanish at home everyday (my partner is Mexican) and the doggy handles Spanglish like no one else.
