Vision trips with the Iceland Project are generally about a week long. They focus on survey evangelism and prayer walks. This provides us with much needed man-power to engage people in a non-threatening way. Someone from one of our church families can then follow up with people who are open to spiritual conversations. Mission teams also have time to encounter God by getting out of the city and exploring His awe-inspiring creation. Teams are invited to worship at a Sunday gathering with one of our church families. Additionally, if your team desires to bless the church members directly, we would enjoy it if your team hosted a meal for the church after the service.

Prior to arrival teams are provided with comprehensive mission packets including information on everything from suggested lodging, and basic language, to suggested prayer walk routes. Team leaders will have the opportunity to ask any questions at pre-arrival meetings and additional support is available once you are on the ground if needed.
