Objective of the research:
Thanks for considering taking part in this research. The project is a premilinary survey about the use of English language in New Zealand. The lack of detail about the study is intentional, in order to prevent any bias in your answers. If you have any further questions about the study, you may email me at marc.lamaison@etu.univ-amu.fr.
Survey plan:
- First, you will be asked a series of demographical questions: age, places of birth and residence, occupation.
- Then you will listen to six audio extracts (16 secs for the longest), and be asked to give your opinion on the speakers, by rating them on scales of supposed friendliness, intelligence, etc.
- A few more questions will be asked about your personal relationship with New Zealand.
- Finally, you can give me some feedback concerning the survey. I am here to learn, after all. If you wish to be notified of the results when they are ready, you can choose to input your email address. Your address will also be needed in case you want to withdraw your data later.
- This is where I thank you for having participated to the survey. SurveyCircle members will also find the code on this last page.
